I spotted this American Robin (Turdus migratorius) on the roof of a house in a residential area of Laguna Niguel, Orange County, California. The American Robin (Turdus migratorius) is a migratory songbird of the thrush family Turdidae. It is named after the Robin we know in Europe because of its orange breast but it definitely looks more like a Blackbird or a Thrush.  It feeds on berries, fruits and invertebrates and it is widely distributed throughout the country.

Love Nature.
