A small population Black Grouse (Lyrurus tetrix) lives in the mountains around Chamonix, France. Here is a beautiful male on of the leks of the area during the parade. Beautiful silhouette and plumage. Enchanting calls. This first experience with this species was memorable.

Love Nature.
