Marais de Sionnet is the best place I have ever been to enjoy the beauty of the Common Teals. You can be as close as 2 meters from them, and if you respect them, they would easily accept your presence. 

I have been to other places, especially in France, where they would be so shy you could not get a decent picture before they take off. It is amazing to see how birds from the same species can behave so differently towards species, depending on where they are.
