My first lifer of the year is a very common duck, but I never had the chance to see it before. The Eurasian Wigeon (Anas penelope) is a strongly migratory dabbling duck breeding in Europe and Asia.  On this picture you can see a female I spotted near the Ile Rousseau and Quai des Bergues in Geneva. She is the only one of her kind here at the moment, which makes me wonder if she is wild or escaped and why she is here.
