European Greenfinch (Carduelis chloris) in Soral, Switzerland. July 2016. Not baited. Not called in.

The European Greenfinch (Carduelis chloris) is one the most colorful passerines we can see here in Geneva canton. I find this species really stunning. It is part of the Fringillidae family, which members all have the same thick strong conical beak allowing them to easily feed on grains.
