Part of the Anatidae family, the Garganey (Spatula querquedula) is a stunning migratory duck! Even on a grey and dark weather it is easy to see the beauty of its subtil plumage. The male reminds me a bit the male Northern Pintail that I have seen in California, but it definitely has its own uniqueness. A very beautiful bird.

Love Nature.
