Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus)

The Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus) is the largest bird in the gull family. Its wingspan goes up to 1.7 meters! I spotted it from our ferry back to Kennacraig after having spent a couple of days on Islay.
