Great Skua (Catharacta skua) on Staffa Island, Scotland. August 2015. Not baited. Not called in.

The Great Skua (Catharacta skua) is quite an impressive bird, even from far away. Its wingspan can reach 140cm. Great Skuas are pirates of the seas. They basically steal their meal from other birds, and they can also prey on smaller birds.
