There was not much light left when I spotted this superb Malabar Whistling-thrush (Myophonus horsfieldii). It was the end of an amazing day spent in the tea plantations around Munnar, Kerala. This is really an awful picture and unfortunately I did not have the chance to take a better one during my stay there. I find this bird extraordinary, both for the beauty of its plumage and its song. I hope to go back to Kerala to see it again.

Love Nature.
