I love going birding on Christmas day. Here is a Mew Gull (Larus canus) spotted in Geneva by the lake. Less easy to see than the very common Black-headed Gull (Larus ridibundus), the Mew Gull is a beautiful and elegant bird. Here you can distinguish them from the Black-headed Gulls mainly because of their yellow legs and bill (instead of red). They are also a bit bigger.

Love Nature.
