Red-necked Phalarope (Phalaropus lobatus)

Thanks to the picture in flight, we can see that this bird is not a Wilson’s Phalarope (Steganopus tricolor), only Phalarope species in North America that does not have a wing bar.

The thin bill then tells us it is not a Red Phalarope (Phalaropus fulicarius) either. So it is for sure the Red-necked Phalarope (Phalaropus lobatus)! :)
