I was at the observatory of the Etang Maurice Blanchet when this male Rock Bunting (Emberiza cia) flew by and stopped right in front of us for a few seconds. Just the time to get a shot. Rock Buntings (Emberiza cia) nest on the ground, and feed on seeds and insects. They are part of the Emberizidae family.

It was my first time at Teppes de Vertbois and I am really glad I have seen a new species.
