Rufous Treepie (Dendrocitta vagabunda) in Kumarakom, Kerala, India. February 2015. Not baited. Not called in.

On a hot afternoon walk, while staying by the Lake Vembanad, I spotted this beautiful Rufous Treepie (Dendrocitta vagabunda). This bird really reminded me the Common Magpie we see in Europe. It is also part of the Corvidae family.
