"L'Oiseau Papillon". The Wallcreeper (Tichodroma muraria), or Tichodrome échelette in french, is one of the greatest birds of Switzerland. Going to Creux-du-Van that day I had no idea I would see one for the first time. I was walking by the edge of the cliff when I heard the clic of a camera a bit further. A photographer was pointing his camera down the cliff taking many pictures. I came closer and suddenly I saw the crimson wings of this Wallcreeper (Tichodroma muraria) flying away. We both started to talk waiting for the bird to come back, which he did after only a minute or two. We watched him looking for food on the cliff for a few minutes before he disappeared. It was really an incredible sight. The beauty of this bird is unbelievable.

Love Nature.
