A Wild Dream

2 nights ago, 11pm.
I am in bed when I hear a Tawny Owl calling, super close from our bedroom window. I look out, and I see its silhouette up on our walnut tree! Even that late, it was not totally dark and the sky had some beautiful orange brown colors.
I take my tripod, my camera, and I go right away in our garden hoping to have the opportunity to make an image. Right by my bedroom window I find a spot where the composition was nice. So I set up everything, focus manually on the silhouette and try to take a few pictures. Here is my favorite.

For 2 years now I have been dreaming of that kind of image!
Few minutes later, I understood this owl was the chick when one of his parents came to feed him. :)
Have a wonderful day.

Love Nature.
