Birding in Geneva : Marais de Sionnet 15.11.16

Once again Marais de Sionnet did not fail. Weather is getting cold, bringing the winter crisp light that I love so much. During our walk, my friend Martin and I had the chance to see many bird species. For example, we spotted a Cattle Egret gently starting its day on a bush, then taking off passing in front of us to land on top of one the 3 dead trees for the first rays of sun. Other great observations were a Western Water Rail and 4 Common Teals only 2 meters from us, a Common Snipe in flight, and at the end of our walk, a flock of 6 Northern Lapwings flying south.
