I spotted this Brandt's Cormorant (Phalacrocorax penicillatus) in Dana Point Harbor, Orange County, California. Its blue eyes are so stunning! This is an adult in non-breeding plumage (from June to March). They are even more beautiful in breeding plumage (April to June), but again, look at this eye!
