White-browed Wagtail (Motacilla maderaspatensis)
I spotted 2 White-browed Wagtails (Motacilla maderaspatensis) from a bridge very close to an entrance of the Thattekad Bird Sanctuary. The background in this picture is the Periyar river. This species is endemic to the Indian subcontinent and is usually found in open freshwater wetlands habitats. I find the constrat of the plumage is beautiful. You can easily understand why it is named White-browed Wagtail. :)
Love Nature.
